Shaggy’s is a popular spot for seafood lovers with locations across the Gulf Coast and now they’re doing their part to spread some Christmas cheer this holiday season.
The men and women of the Pass Christian Police Department will be eating well this Christmas thanks to a generous donation from Shaggy’s. Each of the 20 men and women that serve and protect the city will be receiving gift cards courtesy of the people at Shaggy’s as a way of saying thank you and as a gesture of the spirit of giving during the holidays.

Sue Young with Pass Christian PD said, “We were only asking for and possibly expecting one or two gift cards for dinner for two for the officers and their spouses and they called and said that they were going to make sure that every officer had a gift card this Christmas.”

Shaggy’s Co-Owner Rimmer Covington said, “The men and women at a police department work so hard every day in order to make sure that we’re safe and that the communities that we live in there’s order and peace. Now more than ever our communities need to get behind the men and women in uniform.”
This isn’t the first time Shaggy’s has supported local law enforcement. Earlier this year, on a day of national support for Dallas police, Shaggy’s provided free lunch for local police officers.
